# Wires and Connections ## Overview Wires are the electrically conductive connections between the elements in electronic circuitry.  Designing your project or following many Adafruit guides, there are wires interconnecting different parts.  Theoretically, these are zero resistance, perfect connections.  On the breadboard, they are nice colored jumper wires.  In practice, the designer has a many possible choices of how to connect electronic parts together. Connections may be broken down into three categories: 1. Wires 2. Cables 3.
