Help Toddlers visualize time with this handy countdown timer!
Powered by CircuitPython, this timer runs on a QT Py RP2040 with components connected through STEMMA QT cables.
Six glowy Adafruit stars on the case dim as the time counts down to help visualize how much time is left.
The OLED screen displays the time left on the clock. Rotate the encoder to set the time and then press the knob to active the push-switch to start the countdown.
The 3D Printed case uses translucent filament to diffuse an LED strip. Each star's brightness scales to the time set to help toddlers tell how long is left on the clock.
Edit the code to customize the timer or edit the design files to fit your own boards, this project is fully editable with the included files!
This project is inspired by Julius Curt's Visual Timer for Toddlers project on Hackaday.
