Matrix Portal Code

The very first run from the factory of the MatrixPortal S3 did not have the UF2 bootloader installed. Follow these instructions to install the UF2 bootloader:

This project is based on the Matrix Portal Animated Message Board code by Melissa LeBlanc Williams.
This code will support most of the features detailed in that guide. This guide shows how to add fonts and colors, but with a little creative coding you can also add background images, bitmaps, advanced scrolling and more.
To get the code up and running:
- Reload the UF2 bootloader on the Matrix Portal S3 (if necessary, see above)
- Install CircuitPython on the Matrix Portal S3
- Connect to your local WiFi network
- Upload the code and library bundle
- Customize the code with your Matrix size and preferences
