Glue Frame
The fame align with the button, light sensor and screen cutouts.
Use small daps of super glue to adhere the frame to the case.
Tap Lid
The lid will require a tapping tool. Use a 3/8-16 tap tool to create the threads for the 3/8 to 1/4-20 tripod screw adapter.
Use a flat head screw driver (or the end of tweezers) to fasten the screws adapter into the case.
We also have an M5 version of the lid. We can use the an M5 tap tool or carefully use the M5 screws to create the threads on the lid.
Attach JST / Slide switch
Plug the slide switch cable into the JST port on the CLUE board, before installing into the case.
Coil the JST wires to loop along the back of the CLUE board.
Plug the lipo battery into the female end of the JST slide switch cable.
Align the battery in the center of the CLUE board.
Mount Clue
Slide the CLUE board at an angle into the button and screen cutouts on the case.
The slide switch press fits at an angle. We can gently bend the two metal taps on the slide switch to increase how tight the slide switch fit between the walls in the case.
Attach lid
Align the tabs on the case to the groves on the lid. Join at an angle to press fit the lid into the case. A spudger tool can help to snap fit the lid into the case if the tolerances are too tight.
Attach bracket
Align the bracket over handle bar and gently push the it onto the bar.
If the bracket breaks, reprint and make sure to use a low infill (0-5%) to increase the flexibility of the bracket.
Use an M5x16mm long screw and M5 nut to secure the bracket to the handlebar.
Attach swivel head
Use a 1/4 to 1/4 adapter to connect the swivel head to the bracket.
The case can now screw into place. Adjust the swivel head to get the best viewing angle while riding.
Attach Wahoo
The Wahoo sensor features a rubber band that can loop around the bike frame. Align it close to the tire.
Spoke Magnets
Use the spoke magnet so its close to the sensor. We stacked additional magnets to reach the sensor.
Attach Peddle magnets
The last magnet attaches to the peddle. We couldn't remove our peddle, so we used zip ties to attach it to a bigger rubber band.
Fit over the peddle and align the magnet so it moves over the the Wahoo sensor.
