# Neo Trinkey Case

This protective case for a Neo Trinkey features a built in USB shell to help stabilize the board.

The print-in-place button allow you to access the reset button.&nbsp;

Translucent filament helps to soften and diffuse the NeoPixel LEDs .

The large ring allows you to use bigger keychains or lanyards!

## Capacitive Touch&nbsp;

&nbsp;

The Neo Trinkey case is also compatible with these optional 3d printed conductive touch pads using [Conductive PLA filament](https://www.proto-pasta.com/collections/conductive/products/conductive-pla). These allow you to route the touch pads to the top of the case, in addition to the back and front.&nbsp;

## Keyboard Inputs

&nbsp;

The touch pads can be used as keyboard buttons! You can set the two touchpads to be an HID (Human Interface Device), like a shutter button on mobile devices or a macro pad on a computer!

## Slicing Parts

Supports are required. Slice with setting for PLA material.&nbsp;

The parts were sliced using CURA using the slice settings below.

- PLA filament 220c extruder
- 0.2 layer height
- 10% gyroid infill
- 60mm/s print speed
- 60c heated bed

- Support Z Height: .21
- Interface: Off
- Support Roof: On
- Support Pattern: Zig Zag

## Assemble&nbsp;

&nbsp;

Slide the Neo Trinkey into the bottom slot inside the case.

Align the touch pads to the edge of the case.

Press fit the cover tab into the slot on the PCB and align the cover to the edges on the case.&nbsp;

## Cap Touch Pads

&nbsp;

Use [conductive PLA filament](https://www.proto-pasta.com/collections/conductive/products/conductive-pla) for the capacitive touch pads. The optional cap touch pad are fitted over the PCB. Arrange the right and left pads to fit on the PCB.
