Choose Your Own Adventure
There are several emulators available for the Adafruit Fruit Jam. You have the option to switch between them by going into boot loader mode via boot+reset button on the Fruit Jam. Then, drag and drop your desired UF2 firmware file. With Fruit Jam, it's easy to switch between Mac OS, NES, Fruit Jam, and my favorite, DOOM.Â
Pico-Mac Emulator for Mac Classic
The pico-mac-adafruit_fruit_jam-4096k-800x480-psram-oc.uf2 is suggested for this project. Download and flash that UF2 file onto the Fruit Jam while it's in boot loader mode (You will see a disk drive appear called RP2350). Then, download the macImage.img and rename it to umac0w.img. Copy that image onto your SD card and pop it into the SD card slot on the Mac Classic build. The Fruit Jam will boot up using the image provided. Â
