Install Bluefruit LE Connect
The first step to enable DFU support on your iOS device is to install our free Bluefruit LE Connect application, available in the App Store.
This should work on an iPhone or iPad less than a few years old since Apple was very early in adding Bluetooth Low Energy support to their devices.
The Bluefruit LE Connect application will manage the firmware updates for you, including downloading the appropriate firmware image from our Github firmware repo, resetting the board into DFU mode, and displaying the version number once the update is complete (as detailed in the video below).
