Raspberry Pi Quick Start
If you're setting up your Raspberry Pi for the first time, head to the official Raspberry Pi Getting Started guide. Here are the steps to follow:
- Download the Raspberry Pi Imager app for your operating system on your main computer -- you'll use it to image a microSD card
- Pick your Raspberry Pi model (in my case Raspberry Pi 4)
- Choose the operating system (Raspberry Pi Desktop OS (64-bit) port of Debian Bookworm
- Pick your SD card
- Follow the prompts to flash the card
- Once the SD card is flashed, eject it from you computer
- Insert the SD card in the Raspberry Pi's microSD card slot
