# How to manage saved payments on your Adafruit account. ## Saved Payments Overview **Credit Card Payments Now Powered by Stripe** As of October 9, 2024, Adafruit has transitioned to using Stripe for all credit card payment processing. This change enhances security, expands accepted payment options, and offers new features for a smoother checkout experience. Customers will need to enter their credit card details to create a new saved card or update their existing payment information in their Adafruit account. AdaBox subscribers, however, don’t need to take any action at this time—your payment information remains securely stored. Primary: Please note that all previous saved payment methods are no longer available. To use saved payments during checkout, you will have to enter or reenter your payment information. # How to manage saved payments on your Adafruit account. ## How to Save a Payment Method to your Adafruit Account There are two ways to save a payment method to your Adafruit account. You can save a payment during the checkout process or by updating your Payment Methods in your Account Settings. **How to save a payment method to your account during checkout. ** Log in to your Adafruit account. Next, add all the items you need to your cart and then visit checkout. At the payment step, you will see **Credit Card (Stripe) **as an option. Select that. Enter your credit card details. Make sure to check the box  **Save this payment method for future orders**. Finish checkout and you will see the success page. ![](https://cdn-learn.adafruit.com/assets/assets/000/132/965/medium800/community_support_savedpaymentcheckout.png?1728493457) Next, visit **My Account Settings \> Payment Methods** to confirm you are seeing the payment method you just saved. You're all set. # How to manage saved payments on your Adafruit account. ## How to Check Out with a Stripe Saved Payment Method Once you have at least one Stripe saved payment method on your account, you can check out using that saved payment. Simply, add items to your cart and proceed through checkout. At the payment step, you will see the option to use the saved payment method. You're all set. # How to manage saved payments on your Adafruit account. ## How to edit a saved payment from your Adafruit account To edit a payment method you've saved to your Adafruit account, go to My Account \> Payment Methods and select Edit. ![](https://cdn-learn.adafruit.com/assets/assets/000/132/976/medium800/community_support_edit.png?1728495295) On the edit page, you can change the address that's linked to the credit card. To enter a card with a new number and or expiration date, please instead add a new card and delete any expired entries you have saved. Primary: That's it!
