These LED filaments want 3V of power apiece.
The coin cell batteries we stock provide about 3v of power, and we have nifty kid-proof holders with an on/off switch already embedded. Check the diagram above for how to wire them up.
If you're using just one number, connect the cathode (+) leg of the filament to the + wire (usually coded red), and the anode (-) leg of the filament to the black (-) wire.
If you're using two numbers, wire the lights in series. Our 2-coin-cell LED holder is already wired to provide 6v from the two 3v batteries, so wiring in series as shown will split the voltage evenly between the two filaments, providing 3v to each one.
