For the beginner version: the three wires from the light strand will connect to the three screw terminal ports on the Mini Sparkle Motion as follows: 

• Red to +5v
• Green to 32
• Black to G

For the intermediate version: the first strip is wired the same way, but two parallel strips on pin 33 are added. The +5v and G pins will be shared between all three strips. For the data line, the two cuffs will be wired to the same data pin (33), so will always sync up automatically.

The project will be powered through the USB port on the Sparkle Motion -- plug in your USB cable and then the battery.
