What's the first thing you want to do with your Fruit Jam? Run a Mac emulator of course! Intrepid CircuitPython core developer jepler forked the pico-mac emulator and made it run smoothly like fresh jam spread on toast for the Fruit Jam. This means video output via HSTX, PIO USB, PSRAM support and even audio output from the onboard I2S DAC.
The pico-mac emulator embeds the umac Mac 128K emulator to run on a Raspberry Pi Pico/Pico2. It's been tested with System 2.0 up to System 7.5.5 for a wide range of emulation options.
The Adafruit fork of the emulator provides pre-compiled UF2's that you can drag and drop onto the Fruit Jam to get started right away. This guide provides a disk image (.IMG file) that you can use or you can bring your own.
