Wires for NeoPixel

Get the NeoPixel, 3-pin JST-SH cable and three wires (colored red, black and white).

Measure and cut the three colored wires to about 13.5in in length.

Using wire cutters, remove the jumper pins from the 3-pin JST-SH cable.

Strip and tin the ends of all the wires using a bit of solder.

Solder the longer wires to the shorter wires from the 3-pin JST-SH cable.

Extended Cable for NeoPixel

Add three pieces of heat-shrink tubing to insulate the exposed wire.

The total length of the cable should be about 18-inches in length.

Button Wire Prep

Get the 2-pin quick connect cable and two black colored wires.

Cut off the 2-pin connector from the quick connect cable.

Measure and cut the two black wires to be able 8-inches in length.

Strip and tin the ends of all the wires.

Solder the two black wires to each of the quick connect wires.

Add heat shrink tubing to insulate the exposed wire.

Ensure the wires are properly soldered and the exposed wire are insulated with heat shrink tubing.
