Overview
Say Hello to Franky
Build a Frankenstein's monster inspired prop for Halloween that features glowing LED eyes, sound effects, and a built-in candy dispenser powered the Feather RP2040 Prop-Maker.
The cool dude shades are actually Adafruit LED Glasses with a piece of black LED acrylic overlaid for diffusion. The animated eyes look around and blink while waiting for a button press.
Whether it's set up on desk or mounted to a post on a front porch, we think this project is a fun and interactive way to share some treats with your friends and guest!
Press Brain for Candy!
A 3D printed glowing brain is embedded inside a massive 100mm arcade button. Press the button and out comes candy! But where does the candy dispense from? Well, candy goes in your mouth, so you can guess where!
Franky speaks out each time the button is pressed, offering words of wisdom such as reminding you to brush your teeth.
A continuous servo drives a 3D printed archimedes screw to push candies through a hopper thats fitted inside Franky's head. Candies fall through a 3D printed feeder and dispenses through Franky's mouth.
