# CircuitPython with Jupyter Notebooks ## Overview ![](https://cdn-learn.adafruit.com/assets/assets/000/057/034/medium800/circuitpython_Untitled-3.png?1530650231) Jupyter lets you create interactive notebooks containing code, text, and rich media that you can share with your friends. We created a Jupyter Notebook package (called a Kernel) for you to **run CircuitPython code directly from a Jupyter interactive notebook.** That means your code lives in your web-browser and executes on the CircuitPython hardware through a serial USB link.
