Thanks to the CircuitPython audio library mixer, it's easy to do! This project is easy to build, and the colorful tactile buttons are irresistible to push. Hold any button or combination of buttons to un-mute the synced loops like a DJ killswitch -- the music loops play constantly in the background, the audio mixer takes care of the rest. No tricky sync code to worry about.
